Trying to sell your house?

As a Senior Rental Consultant for CORT, over the last eight years I’ve had the pleasure of working with many talented stagers and designers in the Philadelphia and southern New Jersey areas. When I met Deb Sabel and Sue Sommers from S & S Simply Staged, they were looking to present ideas to their very skeptical customer who had been trying, to no avail, to sell a vacant house.

While Deb and Sue bounced creative ideas off each other and selected the furnishings and décor that CORT has to offer, I couldn’t help but visualize the culmination of their inspired brainstorming. They instantly transformed a cold and sparse house into a buyer’s dream home. Deb and Sue performed their magic, CORT provided the beautiful furniture, artwork, and area rugs, and within weeks the house was sold and the sellers were on their way to their new destination!

After a very short while of working together with this dynamic duo on various projects, I knew I was working with two women who know how to master the marketing techniques of selling a house in today’s challenging market. I’ve also recognized that besides their innate talent, Deb and Sue’s winning smiles and warm personalities always seem to ease a homeowner’s trepidation while they witness the transition of their "home" into a depersonalized "house" that can be marketed to the majority of homebuyers. Extremely conscious of their clients’ budgets and many times urgent deadlines for last minute "open houses", Deb and Sue never forget the human factor of their clients’ needs. The greater part of the proposals I’ve provided to S & S Simply Staged have came to fruition because Deb and Sue’s presentations always seem to impact the "sell-side" of the real estate transactions.

Being in the industry I know the importance of preparing a house for sale before the property goes on the market. I have only praise and admiration for Deb and Sue’s ability to maximize a home’s potential while increasing the perceived value. I have become a real fan of staging and of S & S Simply Staged in order  to get homes sold in this market. Prior to meeting Deb Sable, I had a couple of very iffy experiences with staging and their results. Fortunately, one of my clients about a year ago found Deb through her research. I had seen the house before and after they did their magic and it was truly remarkable. The house also sold in less than 2 weeks for a bit more than the clients thought they would get! I was sold and have used them for every client that will listen. Their staged homes have all sold! Deb and Sue have a wonderful way of getting the client motivated and the end result is that we are putting a property on the market that is head and shoulders above the others in the price range. My clients have all thanked me for introducing them to S & S Simply Staged. They are a pleasure to work with and truly gifted professionals.
